Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services, website, programs, or resources provided by SOCIETY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT RESOURCES (SHER), a registered society working for holistic social development, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our website (shersociety.org), participation in our programs, donations, volunteer activities, and all interactions with our foundation. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
About Our Society
SOCIETY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT RESOURCES (SHER) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the upliftment of society. Our registered office is located at F 244, Ground Floor, Lado Sarai, South Delhi - 110030. Our mission is to empower the weaker, destitute, and economically backward sections of society. We believe that real development of the nation is possible only through improvements in education, health, and environment. We work towards providing equal opportunities and rights to all sections of society.
Use of Services and Programs
Our society offers various services including educational programs, healthcare initiatives, skill development training (sewing, embroidery, computers, etc.), women empowerment projects, and environmental conservation activities. Participation in any of our programs or use of our services is subject to eligibility criteria, availability, and our operational capacity. We reserve the right to accept or decline participation requests based on our assessment of need, resource availability, and program requirements. Beneficiaries must provide accurate information during registration. Misrepresentation may result in disqualification. All participants must respect our staff and volunteers.
Donations and Contributions
All donations made to SOCIETY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT RESOURCES (SHER) are voluntary contributions towards our charitable objectives. Donors acknowledge that contributions are made without expectation of goods or services in return, except for tax receipts as applicable under Indian law. We accept donations through various channels including online payments and bank transfers. All monetary donations are processed securely. Donors will receive acknowledgment receipts. Donations are generally non-refundable except in cases of technical errors. We reserve the right to utilize donations for the charitable purpose for which they were given or for general operational purposes.
Volunteer Agreement
Volunteers are valued members of our society who contribute their time and skills. By registering as a volunteer, you agree to commit the time specified, follow society policies, maintain confidentiality, and represent SHER professionally. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old unless participating in supervised youth programs. We reserve the right to decline or terminate volunteer participation based on conduct. Volunteers serve at their own risk, and the society is not liable for injuries incurred during voluntary activities except as required by law.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos is the property of SOCIETY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT RESOURCES (SHER) and is protected by copyright laws. You may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any commercial use requires prior written permission.
